ION Exchange Resins

Polymex Resin is used most widely in sodium form for water softening applications. It can be used also in two-stage de-ionizing as the cation exchanger in the hydrogen cycle.

ION Exchange Resins

Polymex Resin is a high capacity strongly acidic cation exchanger in bead form. It is based on cross-linked polystyrene and has a gel structure. The resin contains sulphonic acid functional groups. It is supplied moist in the sodium form.

SAC - C 25 DM

SAC-C25 DM is a gel-type strong acid cation exchange resin having a 7% cross-linked polystyrene matrix with sulphonic acid as a functional group. The resin has good operational capacity under various raw water qualities. It also provides excellent physical stability. The resin is supplied with standard beads size distribution to give optimum operating capacity with minimum ion leakage and also minimum pressure drop across the resin bed. The resin is available in both Na+ and H+ form.

SBA-TYPE II

SBA-TYPE II is a gel-type strong base anion exchange resin based on polystyrene matrix with a quaternary ammonium functional group. SBA-TYPE II gives high-throughput and consistent quality. SBA-TYPE II resins in combination with SAC-C25 DM resins, gives excellent performance in mixed beds.
